The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances where Party President, ridden by D.J. O'Connor, and trained by A.D. Leahy did not parade in the parade ring as required under the provisions of Rule 32. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. A.D. Leahy said it was due to a miscommunication between the groom leading up the horse, who reported that the horse was difficult, and himself but he accepted that the horse did that not enter the parade ring prior to being mounted. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the trainer in breach of Rule 32(ii) and having considered his clean record, they fined him €500 on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend after the final fence involving Butter Fingers, ridden by S.R Markey, Giant Haystacks, ridden by D.J Gilligan, and Mount Shenshan, ridden by P.T. Enright where it appeared both Mount Shenshan and Giant Haystacks ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.D.J. Gilligan stated that he was on the inside throughout and it got tight for room after the final fence. P.T. Enright stated that the horse outside him rolled in after the final fence. S.R. Markey stated that his mount jumped right at the final fence and was unaware he was tightening up horses inside him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S.R. Markey was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden Carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the approach to the second last fence involving Truckers Cruising, ridden by Sam Ewing, and Giant Haystacks, ridden by D.J Gilligan where it appeared the two horses made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sam Ewing stated that the two horses made contact on the approach to the second last fence but he did not have to stop riding. D.J. Gilligan stated that he had been on the inside throughout and did not feel there was much contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Lunar Empress, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly bumped after 50 yards from the start.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Lunar Empress, ridden by N.M. Crosse, Silver Kiss, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and The Good Wife, ridden by W.J. Lee where it appeared the three horses made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated that he received a bump from his inside and that he was trying to hold his line. C.D. Hayes stated his filly got lit up and he did his best to hold his line. W.J. Lee stated that it was his mounts first run and he was keen to get cover. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Great Mover, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, W.J. Lee, rider of Great Mover, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not pick up coming out of the dip and only kept on one paced up the hill.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after about a furlong from the start involving Sindagan, ridden by B.M. Coen, Almeiyda, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Punica Granatum, ridden by S. Foley where it appeared Punica Granatum clipped a heel resulting in S. Foley being unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that his filly was running keen and he was looking for cover and he caught the heel of one of the leaders . B.M. Coen stated that his mount was running keen and awkward in the early stages and he was unaware of the incident . C.D. Hayes stated that he felt he kept his line and was unaware of the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

B.M. Coen, rider of Sindagan, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen and awkward for the first furlong.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Starborn Legend, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the faller.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Almeiyda, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the loose horse.

W.J. Lee, rider of Lady Arwen (GB), trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Liberate (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped the road in the back straight.
